Description:

This session will discuss best practices in scoping, scheduling, resourcing and de-risking projects, as well as putting in place effective monitoring strategies to mitigate the risk of scope deviations and delayed deliverables. The facilitator of this session, Timothy Quinn, is a project management professional with 25+ years experience. Tim has advised several local and international organizations, including the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and Canada’s International Development Research Centre. Tim will also touch on aspects of technical project management and some of the unique challenges to project managers today, such as cybersecurity and AI.
