Webinars are hosted monthly and provide Introductory training relevant to Land Management in Ontario First Nations.

Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 1 – 3 p.m. for OALA’s December Webinar, Aboriginal and/or Treaty Rights and Interests and the Environmental Assessment Process, with Dillon Consulting. The purpose of this webinar is to support First Nation communities in capacity building and knowledge development in the federal Environmental Assessment (EA) process and related legislation and best practices. An overview will be provided of how impact assessments address the concerns of Indigenous Peoples, and the impacts to Aboriginal and Treaty Rights, traditional use of lands and resources, and any considerations related to Indigenous cultural heritage.

Time:  1:00 –  3:00 p.m. EST

A Zoom Meeting invitation will be sent directly to all OALA members. There is no need to register for Webinars.
